New Kits!

What Others are Saying:

Sometimes the best word on our kits comes from other professionals.

We at VSI Pet Care Products have always stressed that having a pet or equine first aid kit was critical for treating minor injuries or stabilizing serious injuries before seeking professional help.

No less a source than magazine Veterinary Practice News recently underscored this need for having a first aid kit on hand. In the respected publication’s April edition, the article “Pet First-Aid Awareness,” author Marissa Heflin urged veterinarians to educate their customers about the need for proper first aid.

“The better veterinarians train pet owners on how to prepare for emergencies and how to act when one occurs, the better chance the pet has to survive,” Amy Shroff, VMD, emergency and critical care chief of staff at Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center of New England in Waltham, Mass., was quoted in the article.

Shroff even holds pet first-aid classes at her clinic to teach pet owners how to recognize if something is wrong with their pet, including teaching them to take their pet’s pulse and temperature. This includes creating a first-aid kit, applying bandages and the fundamentals of disaster preparedness.

VSI Pet Care Products has long stressed this need for preparation and designed its first aid kits with input from veteraina4rians to include all of the products need to teat animals for minor injuries or stabilize injuries before seeking veterinary help. This need is only underscored by major regional disasters that left both humans and pets stranded and often injured, or pet food poisonings.

A review in www.petsweekly.com by aurthor Stacy Mantle gave top grades to our Feline First Aid Kit. We're not surprised, but very grateful:
